I moved to Dubai, UAE in 2017 heading the MENA region for a travel technology company based in the UK, primarily selling the cruise technology solutions, then worked for Romania based was part of the pre-sales team. Gained in-depth experience in travel companies (Travel Agency, Tour Operator, Travel Management Companies, Destination Management Companies, B2B, B2C market) end to end business operations – starting from travel request, to sales, delivery & fulfillment to feedback and customer reviews.
Also understood that any travel company can automate the process through technology limited to 60%-80% only but they still need a good mix of travel technology and experienced travel professionals to achieve the best results like manual working on GDS’s – Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport to find the best results, manage cancellations, refunds etc.
